As I was  searching for some inspiration on YouTube for the Ultimate Blogging Challenge, I stumbled upon this very short video where Chris Gardner explains the distinction between self worth and net worth.

What are you worth?

When I started my Virtual Assistant business, I wasn’t aware of the distinction. With the help of one of my coaches, I learned that my self worth is more important than my net worth.

Don’t get me wrong, I still want to succeed. I  now know I can do it by keeping my self worth intact.

I have a confession to make. I did not know who Mr Gardner was and I am one of the few who hasn’t read The Pursuit of Happiness or seen the movie yet. I shall fix this very soon.
